Photography Services Agreement
This agreement is entered into between:

1. Services Provided
The Photographer agrees to provide photography services for the above event/session.
Coverage will include approximately [X] hours of shooting time. The Photographer typically captures approximately 25-30 images per hour, though this is not guaranteed.
2. Payment Terms
Hourly Rate: $[X] per hour
Total Estimated Cost: $[Amount]
Deposit: $25 due at booking
Payment Schedule: Due Upon Receipt
Deposit is required to secure the date
Remaining balance due by [date OR “day of event”]
Failure to complete payment may result in withholding of images.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Deposits are non-refundable
Cancellations made less than 2 days before the event are non-refundable
One reschedule may be permitted with at least 2 days notice
If the Photographer must cancel due to emergency, a full refund will be issued or the session will be rescheduled.
4. Delivery of Images
Edited images will be delivered within 4 weeks.
Delivery method: Online gallery via download link.
Alternative delivery methods must be agreed upon before date of service.
RAW/unedited images are not included.
Clients may request expedited (“rush”) delivery for an additional fee, equal to 25% of the total session price. Rush delivery timelines and availability are not guaranteed and must be agreed upon in writing prior to or immediately following the session.
Full payment, including the rush fee, must be received before expedited editing begins.
5. Creative Control
The Client acknowledges that:
Photography is subjective
The Photographer retains full creative control over editing, style, and image selection
Specific shots are not guaranteed unless agreed upon in writing.
Shot List & Requested Images
Clients may provide a shot list prior to the session for reference. While the Photographer will make reasonable efforts to capture requested images, fulfillment of all requested shots is not guaranteed.
The Client understands that:
Photography is dynamic and dependent on timing, lighting, and subject cooperation
The Photographer will prioritize capturing the event as it naturally unfolds
The Photographer is not responsible for missed shots due to:
Lack of time
Uncooperative subjects
Changes in schedule
Environmental or lighting limitations
Excessive or highly detailed shot lists that interfere with event coverage may be declined or adjusted at the Photographer’s discretion.
6. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
Arrive on time
Provide accurate event details
Ensure cooperation of subjects and access to locations
The Photographer is not responsible for missed shots due to lack of cooperation, restrictions, or delays.
7. Copyright & Usage
All images remain the property of the Photographer.
The Client is granted a personal-use license to:
Share images online
Print images for personal use
The Client may not sell, alter, or use images for commercial purposes without written permission.
8. Model Release
The Client grants permission for the Photographer to use images for:
Portfolio
Website
Social media
Marketing materials
If the Client does NOT agree, they must notify the Photographer in writing prior to the session.
9. Limitation of Liability
In the unlikely event of:
Equipment failure
Loss of files
Unforeseen circumstances
Liability is limited to the total amount paid.
10. Force Majeure
The Photographer is not liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond control, including but not limited to:
Weather
Illness
Venue restrictions
Emergencies
11. Agreement
By signing below, both parties agree to the terms outlined in this contract.
